Dennis and Katryn got married at Amelie’s in June 2019. They had 46 people to the ceremony during the day, and more than 70 people for the evening do. With a Christmas theme including snowmen table decorations, and a mini Christmas tree by the cake, this was certainly a wedding to remember, and really shows how diverse Amelie’s can be as a wedding venue.

The bride’s father also played bagpipes as the happy couple exited the ceremony, before sitting down to enjoy a three course wedding breakfast. The menu started with local Porthleven chilli crab cakes with a mango and lime dipping sauce, followed by Cornish roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, goose fat potatoes, seasonal vegetables and Davidstow cheddar cheese, finished by a rich dessert of chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce.
